Al Aylsworth - Lead Vocals, Acoustic and Rhythm Guitars, Bass

Will O’Rear - Lead and Rhythm Guitars, Vocals

Tommy Prewitt - Drums, Percussion, Keys, Vocals

“TalentShow’s songs feel a bit nostalgic for me - easy tempos juxtaposed with heavy imagery that smack of Paul Westerberg and Jakob Dylan. The vocals are solid, wholesome, and confident yet are singularly unique and work well with the minimal but well-placed harmonies; the guitars are clean and crunchy, in places reminding me of Matthew Sweet, and have a sheer unapologetic quality; the drumming exudes an all too rare, solid confidence that can be both heard and felt.”

-Randall Lancaster, noted Nashville writer, actor, singer/songwriter

When Al Aylsworth and Tommy Prewitt started the band, Flat Stanley, at Auburn University with fellow students Clay Johnson and Joe Thomas Jr, they didn’t do so with the intention of writing original music – they just wanted to hear a band cover all their college radio faves. And that wasn’t so easy to do - bar bands in that era weren’t banging out early alternative giants - so the band did just that. But after a couple years on the college circuit, the band moved to Atlanta and threw the switch from being a cover band to being all original, changed their name to Month of Sundays, and later added guitarist Arlan Gibson. A major label (Warner/Chappell) publishing deal, four records, 1000 shows, and one USO tour to Korea and Japan later, MOS left the building. Al and Tommy then hooked up with former classmate and Purple Zeroes guitarist, Will O’Rear, and former bandmate, Joe Thomas Jr on bass, to form The Roustabouts on a farm outside of Montgomery. The combination proved prolific as the band quickly started cranking out new songs while touring the SE. The band ultimately recorded a number of demos and full-length CD "little m" - originally released on Big Daddy Dog Records out of Birmingham. Having all remained tight friends, the bands continue writing and playing live shows together in various lineups. The tragic death of Joe Thomas Jr prompted the name change to TalentShow, a renewed focus on new material, and ultimately produced the new self-entitled 10-song album.

"little m" was originally released on Big Daddy Dog records, when the band was known as The Roustabouts, In an effort to capture the essence of the band at the time and conjure up the best of its Stones and Replacements influences, these songs were recorded live in-studio directly to 2 tracks. Joe Thomas Jr plays bass on all tracks.
